Elisabet Frick is a textile designer, whose work revolves around the tactile and emotional experience of textiles. 

2015 Elisabet graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School of Design with an MA in textile design and since then she is working from her studio in Malmö. Studio Elisabet Frick focuses on woven textiles and various textile techniques as well as color and pattern development. The most recent project is Trådverket, a collaborative educational project. Previously Elisabet studied art, design and architecture in Lund.

In Elisabet Frick´s work you will find that both the tactile and the visual aspects are of equal importance. Her craft deals with how material characteristics, shapes and colors can be applied in a space or in a situation, in order to achieve a sustainable and engaging atmosphere. “The main source of energy and inspiration for my work comes from the things that appear in daily life, and I try to capture and hold on to them. It can be how daylight expresses itself during the course of a day, or how water behaves on a window. All of these things are my everyday phenomena.”
